Friendly staff, clean and inviting space, great prices. I went in for cat food and decided to check out the reptile section since I have a Ball Python. Found this beautiful little lady, now named pistachio, and left with her. 😍 They were very helpful finding what I needed to get for her, and was an enjoyable experience dealing with the woman that helped me. Have fallen so in love with this little Emerald Swift, that I will be returning and ordering 5 more 🤣 2 more for home and I also own a business and want 4 for an enclosure there. 5 stars.

Thank you Mr. Pets for setting a new standard for pet stores! I've seen reviews here of people being upset about them asking you for a picture of a cage. It's the same process for when you adopt a dog from anywhere, so why would it be any different for a hamster? You should be reasonably prepared and have an enclosure ready to limit the amount of travel time the hamster has. I love that you've put notes to visit Victoria Raechel and plueschrape on the glass, and you've definitely set yourself apart from other pet stores with hamster care. Please continue to vet/educate people who try to purchase hamsters who don't do prior research, that bring in tiny cages from PetSmart, and think of them as little toys for their kids since they're "cheaper pets". My girlfriend and I have been coming in to see Affogado, and we'll only be visiting this Mr. Pets from now on. Thank you for being a responsible business (and to the employee that brought this up at work, thank you for creating a great enclosure for the hamsters).

Healthy fish, good prices, knowledgeable stsff! Did not have some fish that were on the website maybe different location.. parking available at the back.

I was recently in to pick up two Budiges (Mikey and Sprout) and was very impressed by how compassionate and caring the staff are. I was also pleasantly surprised when I was told I would need to show a photo of the setup I planned at home as this shows they aren't just selling products but rather want to ensure these animals are cared for properly. As someone who loved animals, this was very comforting. While the shop is out of my way for regular pet food shopping, I would absolutely recommend them :) PS to staff, Mikey is very chatty and we are working on trust - she is feisty. Sprout is incredibly stubborn. They are doing very well and have incredible appetites!

I bought some fish from here almost a week ago. Turn out they had some sort of disease and now my other fishes are dying. They were kind enough to refund me what i paid, but what about my other fish? My tank, my plants. Not sure what it is. If it's the neon tetra disease my whole tank is gone.. Will wait and see. They also told me the guy who sold me the fish was inexperienced and was fired. I just wish they would've fired him before. Pray for my tank!!! 😞 Update: 11/21/25 More fish have died and I've communicated with the store. They're very understanding and helping me out with everything as I go through this troubling time. I'll give more updates as my case progresses but so far James has been very helpful and understanding.

Great selection on food, treats, toys, and other accessories for all kinds of pets. The staff is helpful, friendly, and approachable. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free for customers, however there is paid street parking as well along the drive. You can usually find 2 hour parking on a surrounding side street as well.

For my dog, MrPets is less of a store and more of a mini adventure. The moment we walk in, there’s stimulation everywhere—new smells, aisles to explore, and plenty of pet-focused products that actually feel thoughtfully selected rather than random filler. What I like most is that it’s easy to find quality food, treats, and essentials without feeling overwhelmed, and the staff are genuinely friendly toward dogs, not just tolerant of them. It feels like a place built with pets in mind, not just pet owners. If you want a reliable stop where your dog is welcomed and you can grab what you need without hassle, MrPets does the job well.

It's really amazing to shop at this location, which makes me excited and joyful each time I visit the store, and I mostly find healthy fish. The display tank was so very clean and for me, you don't need to quarantine your fish. Xia, is great and kind, she gave me advise how to keep my fish healthy, she was very helpful and the other employees were very friendly. The only thing I observed was a very small display tank of different kinds of fish. I think the owner of this location must improve and add more aquarium tanks. .

I always feel so comfortable going there. The staff is so lovely. I really like the girl with the same name as me Rachel with the short hair she is particularly lovely and helpful when I have questions about my dog. I also find the bald man very helpful. Thanks really value Mr pets because they sell bugs as well for my lizard and those aren’t easy to come by in Vancouver.
